FireSong Gas Fireplace Sound System

Realism is the key.

To be completely believable and to enhance the ambiance of an artificial fire, sound effects need to be absolutely realistic and appear to emanate from the flames themselves, just like in a real fire. The FireSong system, when mounted inside a fireplace behind the access grille and connected to sense the millivolt valve operation, provides exactly that. The sound of a real fire comes from a source that appears to be the flames as soon as the flames are turned on. The level and simulated flame intensity are set to match the visual flames. The observer does not think of an artificial flame and a sound box. They are drawn into the warmth and comfort of a living fire.

FireSong is the first complete fireplace audio generator system available capable of producing extremely realistic stereo fireplace sound effects. It is a fully integrated stereo fireplace sound effects generator product based on Redfire's proprietary Silicon Awakened!™ process.

Finally . . . A complete fireplace accessory consisting of two small speaker enclosures that can be easily integrated into your fireplace appliances at the factory, at retail stores, or in previously installed units.

  FireSong features include:
Lifelike audio generation of fireplace sounds
Crackle, hiss, and rumble sounds
Simple volume control inputs
Variable flame intensity sound controls
Stereo speaker outputs for extreme realism
millivolt valve sense for power-on
AC or battery powered operation
Rugged enclosures
Sample systems available

For existing installations, the FireSong system can be added to most gas fireplaces without any special tools or wiring.

The FireSong product consists of a pair of speaker enclosures, an AC power supply, and a millivolt valve sense cable, as shown below:

The two speaker enclosures are simply placed into the cool air chamber below the firebox of most artificial gas fireplaces and are secured by the built-in magnetic mounts. Power is provided by a small AC power supply from a standard 110A AC receptacle. An optional battery pack can be used to power the system if AC power is not available. An audio enable cable connects to the millivolt valve terminals to allow the audio to be enabled whenever the flames are present.

The FireSong system has user controls to adjust the flame intensity simulated by the audio as well as the volume of the audio. The settings are recorded by the system and become the power up default settings.

The FireSong system is rated for operation up to 85 degrees C for installation into most gas fireplaces. It can also be used in electric fireplace appliances.
